Data protection policy
The Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, as the data controller, informs users about how it uses their personal data collected during web browsing, in accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, or “GDPR”). Data Processing Scope
a) Browsing Data
This includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request, the size of the file returned, the numerical status code sent by the server (success, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and IT environment. These data are collected not to identify users but to gather anonymous statistical information on site usage and service performance.
b) Cookies
The websites managed by the Accademia use cookies to understand which sections of the site are most visited, how users navigate through it, and how long they stay. c) Data provided directly by users
